On this auspicious day, Wednesday, 16th July 2025, a formal and traditional welcome ceremony was held in honor of Lopen Sangay Khandu, who came back after the successful completion of a three-year retreat at Tsakha Ling Drubdhey, Mongar.
The event was graciously organized under the leadership of Lopen Nidup Namgyal, Vice Principal of Busa Wangdue Goenpa Dorling Dhensa 多傑林巴 with the unwavering support from the Secretary, Treasurer, and Administrative Staff of the Dorje Lingpa Foundation .
In a spirit of deep devotion and respect, the Lopens, the monastic and lay community extended our heartfelt and dignified reception.
Ceremonial scarves (khadhar) were offered, auspicious seats were arranged with care and symbolism, and sincere words of welcome, blessings, and joy were expressed in honor of the occasion.
Following the conclusion of the ceremony, Lopen Sangay Khandu formally joined his duties as a Lopen of Busa Wangdue Goenpa, thereby officially entering into the noble service of teaching and guiding within the sacred monastic seat.
May Lopen Sangay Khandu’s return bring boundless benefit to all beings, and may his dedication to the propagation of the Dharma flourish unceasingly for the welfare of the teachings and all sentient beings.
