Rabutse Terney Gyelphelling Monastery Road Upgradation Works

With 65% funding from Sephu Geog Administration and 35% funding from Dorji Lingpa Foundation, the laying of 238 cubic meters of base coarse, 500 meter of earthen drain, cemented L-drain, retaining wall, catchpit, installation of hume pipe, HDPC pipe, construction of stone soling and subgrade works were carried our along the 800 meters of Rabutse Terney Gyelphelling Monastery Road above the Nakha junction towards the monastery area as part of Rabutse Terney Gyelphelling Monastery Road upgradation works.

The road upgradation works which was executed through community contractor and coordinated by foundation where all machineries were provided by foundation started on March 12, 2023 and was completed in June 2023.

Heavy rain during the work’s commencement created challenges, leading to the need for embankment work on the slippery road. Despite these difficulties, the project was completed on time and within the estimated budget.

All work was conducted in compliance with technical standards and passed necessary lab tests, ensuring the successful completion of the Rabutse farm road maintenance project
