On the auspicious 15th day of the 5th lunar month of Wood Snake year, during the blessed time of in the holy land of ancient Tibet, a wondrous temple was miraculously established by the great Indian master Guru Padmasambhava. With profound skill and enlightened means, he subdued obstructing spirits and malevolent forces, liberating them through compassion.
Guru Rinpoche performed powerful sang (smoke offerings) and offer serkyem, taming the spirits and sanctifying the land—thus founding the great temple. From that time onward, this sacred day came to be known and observed as World Smoke Offering Day (Universal Sang Day), a time to purify and renew through the power of offerings.
Today, on this very day, the entire monastic Sangha and Lopens of the Busa Wangdue Goenpa Dorling Dhensa 多傑林巴 came together to offer a grand smoke ceremony in accordance with the profound lineage of Rigzin Chenpo Pema Lingpa. With serkyem and sang, we honored the Eight Classes of Gods and Nagas, invoking peace and blessings.
Through the merit of these sacred offerings —
May all illnesses, epidemics, and worldly fears be pacified.
May the people of this land of medicinal herbs and spiritual richness flourish with long life and well-being.
May harmony prevail.
May all these noble aspirations be swiftly and perfectly accomplished in accordance with the Dharma.
རབ་རྒྱན་ཤིང་སྦྲུལ་ཟླ་ ༥ པའི་ཚེས་ ༡༥འི་དུས་བཟང་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་སྔོན་བོད་དུ་བསམ་ཡས་མི་འགྱུར་ལྷུན་གྱིས་འགྲུབ་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་བཞེངས་པའི་སྐབས་ལྷ་སྲིན་གདུག་པ་ཅན་ཚུ་ཨུ་རྒྱན་གྱི་སློབ་དཔོན་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་ཀྱིས་ཐབས་མཁས་པའི་སྒོ་ལས་བསང་དང་གསེར་སྐྱེམས་ཀྱི་བརྔན་པ་ཚུ་དྲངས་ཏེ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཆེན་མོ་བཞེངས་ཏེ་དེ་ལས་འགོ་བཟུང་འཛམ་གླིང་སྤྱི་བསང་གི་ཉིནམ་ཟེར་བརྩི་སྲོལ་ཡོད་པ་བཞིན་ཉིན་དེ་ཁར་དབང་དགོན་མཐོ་རིམ་བཤད་གྲྭའི་མཁན་སློབ་འདུས་དམང་ཡོངས་ཀྱིས་རྡོར་གླིང་མཐོ་རིམ་ལས་འགུལ་ནང་རིག་འཛིན་ཆེན་པོ་པད་གླིང་ལུགས་ཀྱི་ལྷ་བསངས་རྒྱགས་བརྔན་དང་སྡེ་བརྒྱད་གསེར་སྐྱེམས་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ལས་ལྷ་ཀླུ་སྡེ་བརྒྱད་ཡོངས་ལུ་བརྔན་པ་གནང་ཡོད།
དེའི་དགེ་བས་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་ཀུན་ན་ནད་མཚོན་མུ་གེའི་འཇིགས་པ་ཞི་ནི་དང་སྒོས་སྨན་ལྗོངས་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་འདི་ནང་ལོ་ཕྱུགས་ལེགས་ནད་མཚོན་ཞི་སྟེ་མི་དབང་ཡབ་མེས་སྲས་གསུམ་གྱི་དབུས་པའི་འབངས་འཁོར་རྣམས་ཐུགས་མཐུན་ཁྲིམས་གཙང་ཐོག་བྱ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཆོས་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པའི་སྨོན་འདུན་ཞུ།
